March 6th - Grow your own - a modern approach to Fruit & Veg.
Seminar organised by the RHSI, at the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin 9. Speakers: Helen Dillon (born again vegetable grower), Klaus Laitenberger (ex Organic Centre, Co. March 7th - 13th - National Tree week. National tree week will take place this year from 7th-13th on March. The theme is 'Twenty Ten' - Plant again'. The aim of the national tree week is to raise awareness about trees and encourage local communities and local authorities to participate in over 300 events which will take place around the country during the week.

The rare & special plant fair was established to ensure that the gardening public has an opportunity to purchase rare , unusual and special plants at reasonable prices.
